In order to support Harman Suzhou plant urgent outsource project like Suzuki due to capacity constrain, we need one intern to do below tasks from Mar 1st, 2015 to Jun 30th, 2015.
1.            Provide BOM level cost analysis for outsourced products
2.            Identifies opportunities for material cost improvement by comparing best buying scenarios
3.            Support supplier negotiations by preparing program specific detailed BOM cost reports
4.            Supports supplier RFQ process and make-buy through best BOM analysis
5.            Conduct regular material cost true up, revaluation process  with Suppliers
6.            Manages and supports material price updates, uploads in SAP and Audits
7.            Utilize SAP and Microsoft Excel to create material forecasting reports
8.            Identify cost reduction opportunities and supports Event Driven Cost Reductions
9.            Coordinate with EOL coordinator any End Of life notifications
10.         Interfaces directly with suppliers to resolve pricing, costing or price sharing  conflicts
